Constructed along a hillside, the downstairs was built of handmade brick with the best plumbing available- an indoor cistern.

Details

Occupied by the newspaper editor during the Siege of Vicksburg, the cottage gave up its wallpaper for printing. All major credit cards and checks are accepted.

    Constructed by Newit Vick, the founder of Vicksburg, for his daughter, this miniature mansion is the last original Vick home remaining in the city. Tours last approximately one hour.
